Description of Classes


Easy Striders: A fun and motivating class designed to increase stamina, muscular strength, flexibility, range of movement, for daily active living skills. All fitness levels are welcome. This is a low impact cardiovascular class which is chair optional, for seated or standing support.

Strength for daily living: This a no impact class designed to increase muscular strength, flexibility, and range of movement for a healthy active lifestyle. A chair is used for support during standing and for the aerobic portion of the class. This is a great conditioning class for those who are beginners and those who want to build strength and stamina.

Yoga: The practice of yoga is the most powerful tool for reducing stress and increasing overall health---mentally and physically. Yoga should be practiced by everyone on pursuit of excellence, as it involves mastering your mind, and your body, achieving a balanced life.

Total Body: The class begins step aerobics followed by toning and abdominal. A great total body workout.

Step & Sculpt: An intense conditioning workout using hand weights & resistance techniques. Designed to develop muscle tone and strength. Includes upper and lower body toning, abdominal work and stretching. This class can be taken by anyone. Options are: no weight-to-your choice of weight. You choose how hard your workout will be.

Water Aerobics: This wonderful class consists of exercises using the water as resistance, while allowing easy movements on the joints. A great workout to have fun with this summer.
